Energy efficiency, stronger building materials and cost-effectiveness was the theme for Bristol Norfolk Home Builders Association’s annual New Products Night. A great turnout and a sold out house of venders from local business made the evening especially enjoying.
The mini-expo was held on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Signatures Restaurant, 553 Kelley Boulevard (Route 152), in North Attleborough.
“New Products Night was a great way for us to kick-off the new year,” said Al Hurder, Chairman of the event and President of Hurder Homes, North Attleborough. “With the cost of nearly everything going up, we (contractors) need to learn ways to increase quality while keeping costs as low as possible,” added Mr. Hurder.
In addition to building products and services, the BNHBA New Products night is also a venue for local bankers,” said Brian E. Dunn, President of the association. “Money, just like plywood and storm doors and windows is costing more,” added Mr. Dunn, “We want the consumer as well as the builder to be able to learn how to afford new larger homes being built today.”
Planning for next year's show is already in the works, and we will begin accepting online reservations for vendors booths soon. Until then, please contact Al Hurder to reserve a spot on the reservation list.
